This place make me a absolutely stunned
Ive visited many times Sweden cause i’m half Swedish myself but this place is absolutely amazing especially if you love nature. I would recommend visiting Göteborg and staying here because it’s close to the city and same time absolutely stunning area to half a walk or just sit outside and have a coffee! 11/10

Not the property in the photos! The main building is NOT where you will be staying. Instead there are several dormitory style buildings around the property. There are students staying there as well and they tend to arrive late and noisily. Breakfast doesn’t start u til 8 am so if you are leaving early you are out of luck. Limited public transport options in the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but wish they would have been more upfront about the accommodation type.

While I absolutely enjoyed my stay and the morning breakfast was fantastic, I’m giving an average rating due to a communication issue during my one-night visit. I was told I would receive an email with a code to access a key for my late-night arrival, but I never got it. As a result, I ended up sitting on a couch the entire night, which was quite disappointing. Thankfully, a kind guest noticed me outside and let me in at 3:00 AM. Aside from that, the place was clean and decent—nothing particularly bad, just an average experience overall.

Stället har fördelar och nackdelar. Huvudbyggnaden är ett underbart träslott från sekelskiftet i fantastiskt originalskick i en vacker park som bör ses av alla som är intresserade av gamla trähus och byggnadsvård. Den används som folkhögskola och man har lyckats bevara den i utmärkt skick. Jag bodde dock i en annan byggnad några 100 meter bort, ett trevligt 60-talsbygge med många originaldetaljer och möbler och helt OK rum med bra vandrarhemsstandard nära köket. Dock var det inte helt lätt att hitta dit i mörkret och att förstå in-och utcheckningsrutinerna. Men sammantaget är jag nöjd!

Et nydelig sted. Men er dyrt for et veldig enkelt folkehøgskole elevrom. Ca 950kr. Skulle vi bodd i hotelldelen så hadde det kostet et par hindre pr stk ekstra

Helt otrolig natur runt om. Supermysig ställe! Utegym och frisbeegolf. Personalen otroligt trevlig . Vandrarhemmet var perfekt. Går bussar med X4 in till Göteborg hela tiden. Ca 20 min. 5 minuter promenad ner till mysiga centrum. Vill man göra Göteborg så är detta perfekt! Vill man ta det lugnt så är detta perfekt val!
