"This is our 5th stay at the Santa Barbara and the first time we've been uncomfortable around the pool! We planned a relaxing week sunning ourselves around the pool as usual, however, the amount of children/toddlers running around the main pool was unbearable. Screaming children, balls thrown around the pool aswell as ball games in the pool was nothing wed experienced here on our previous stays. Children should be in the childrens pool not the main pool where people are trying to relax."

"This is a really quiet couples and family location. The balcony is huge and especially the top floor, really private with sun beds. Very nice cafe on site, with a really healthy breakfast option. Its a really good location as a base to hire a car and see the rest of the island. Really nice village/ beach location near by. Los medano is just one. "An excellent property. Quite with sea views and sunset. Lovely and clean. Nice food and entertainment if needed. Near a beach, bus, restaurants and shops. Trips and airport transfer strained from the hotel. A perfect stay. "

"Arrived 1:30pm. Checked in and luggage stored. Room not available until 4pm. Requested a seaview when booking in March. None available. Was offered to upgrade to the Penthouse with all round views, hot tub and bed & breakfast for £300 extra for 3 of us - so why not. Been several times so knew what was on offer. No hot water for showers until part way into 2nd day. Room wasn't cleaned for check in time 4pm. Hot tub was cleaned either until day 3 - certainly not what was expected for upgrade fee....

"We had a great winter stay at Paloma Beach. It’s really easy to get to - only 20mins taxi ride (about 35 euro) from the airport. The apartment was basic but very clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the blackout blind plus shutters in the bedroom. All the balconies face towards the sea and had plenty of space. "The staff were amazing, friendly,helpful and they sorted any issues straight away. There were always cleaners around throughout the day. The housekeeping was brilliant. The view's were beautiful. The only downside for us as a family is the hotel is up a steep hill. Its withing 25 minute walking distance to Fabàbe beach and then into other areas which is a decent walk. "I've stayed 4 times at this hotel now. So I guess I really like it! It's really convenient to Tenerife South airport (22 euros taxi). That does mean the planes fly overhead, but they never bothered us. The hotel is nice and it's big (it takes a while to work out how to get around!), Its on a slope - so some walking up and down steps/ramps required. Rooms are really large and very quiet. Bathrooms have a bath. The all-inclusive is great. Food in the dining room is a buffet and there's always lots of choice. Staff are nice. We like the numerous pools. There is various entertainment. For us it's a very easy hotel to just go and chill and get some winter sun. It is a little shabby around the edges, but taking everything into consideration, for the price, it's great. I can't comment on the area outside, as we never stepped foot outside, as were just there to rest and recharge batteries, for which its perfect!"

Little get away from the cold in Germany.

"My goddaughter and I did a 3 day visit and saw that this Hotel was close to the Airport and bus transportation was right outside of the hotel. The bedroom was separated from the lil kitchen and living room. Would definitely recommend and if ever have an opportunity to come back, would definitely stay here again."

"I enjoyed everything about my stay here apart from one thing - which to be fair - the hotel cannot do much about. My room was on the 7th floor and across the road was an outdoor sports bar which had extremely loud football until about 10pm then a very loud singer & music that went on until after midnight. There is virtually no soundproofing on the balcony doors - luckily I always travel with earplugs but it would have been hellish if I didn't! I flagged this up at reception and suggested they could include packets of foam earplugs in their nice little emergency kits in the bathrooms. Other than that the hotel is lovely and the food was exceptionally good."
