"I loved the Harvey House - it was beautiful, clean and peaceful. I intend to stay here again next time I am in Evanston. I hadn't realised the entrance code wouldn't work before 4pm, my check in time, which was my fault!! But just thought I'd let people know so they didn't make the same error as me. "Cancelled our reservation out of the blue less than three hours before our arrival. We had nowhere to stay when getting to Chicago. Luckily we found a hotel but how crazy. Poorly operated and unprofessional management that does not care about their guests, their plans, or their safety. You can sleep on the street for all they care. Be prepared for 20 questions the night before as well. If you prefer privacy and assurance that your plans are set, choose somewhere else to stay. "

"Fabulous stay! This is right near the Hilton Chicago on South Michigan. I was there with a colleague for a conference. We each had our own bathroom & bedroom, plus a shared living area with a full kitchen, TV, & couch. Bed was super comfortable, water pressure in shower was excellent, & very clean.
