"I stayed in house 5, room 17. So cute inside! It was wonderful and spotless when I arrived. It was modern and offered the amenities listed. The woman at the front desk was very kind and gave clear directions to my room. Although I did not eat breakfast in the morning, it looked delightful as I was checking out. "Very nice guesthouse close to the Ring Road. Super spacious room with a clean private restroom, quiet, and easy parking. Large and delicious breakfast buffet, and the host and other employees were very warm and friendly. One note -- We arrived rather late after 10pm (not planned), and we were fortunate that another couple was checking in at the same time. In general, you'd need to call a number to have the host open the reception and check you in, which isn't possible without a SIM card and/or...

"Beautiful, modern micro-house, with lots of space. Excellent heating in the cold weather. Amazing views from huge windows. Great kitchen for cooking, which you will need, as there are no restaurants close by. "

"My little cottage was private and comfortable. It was super quiet and had a peek-a-boo view of the fjord through the trees. I loved the trails on the property. Being a bird watcher, I appreciated that my cabin had a bird identification book. The bathroom was snug but functional. "

"Wat een ontzettend leuk vakantiehuis. Een perfecte ligging op een mooie locatie en het mooie uitzicht voor de deur. Het huis had alles wat je nodig hebt inclusief een hottub en bbq. Vanuit deze locatie hebben we verschillende uitstapjes gedaan en alles was redelijk in de buurt. "

"The Langvatan Guesthouse was the nicest stay so far during our past 8 days in Iceland. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The common dining area was very cozy and warm. "This is our second Foss Hotel we stayed at on this trip. We booked another Foss because the first one was so great. Thus one was even better. Again, a warm welcome and a welcome warmth after a long day on the road. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed. "
