"We had an amazing weekend for our anniversary! From the moment of booking I had great communication with the owners who were very responsive and accommodating. Our cottage was very comfy, cosy and clean. The facilities are amazing with dog paddocks, entertainments (pool table, football table, table tennis, board games, a great wide selection of dvds for the whole family, a kids corner with toys and books). "The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...

"Location was excellent for walks, Castleton centre, pubs & restaurants. The cottage is very small but fine for two people & a dog. The log burner is great but no wood or matches are provided. The little kitchen area has everything you need although there isn’t any space for prepping food. The stairs are very steep. The bed is extremely comfortable & we slept really well. Property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including kitchen utensils and some disposables which aren't always provided so that was a bonus. Lovely welcome basket of local produce provided on arrival. Property owner was easily reachable and quick to respond when needed."

"A superb studio apartment in the heart of Bakewell - so very well thought out with a bee theme running throughout - free parking permit which was extremely useful - excellent fixtures and fittings - very comfortable bed, lovely shower and a well equipped kitchen - more than enough tea and coffee and milk supplied as well as a welcome honey gift set - Great information prior to arrival and a nice text asking if everything was OK during our stay.
