"The staff and service for this hotel was truly amazing and made it stand out from other hotel experiences. They provided help with my luggage and always provided water bottles. The only downside to the room was the lack of space in the bathroom. It had no where to place things in the restroom to get ready. The location is great, we had many options to eat and drink around and felt safe. "

"People were vaping and smoking constantly in front of lobby doors. It would even come into the lobby. Additionally, people were vaping in the hallways and sometimes would sit at the benches by the elevator, at all hours, doing it so it would smell like weed. My room was right by the elevator so at one point my room was a little smoky and I was worried there was a fire but it was just someone vaping. "Lovely stay. Tiny room. No closet. No tub, but for four days, the location and amenities suited me just fine. Kudos especially to Liz (Alderman) and Francis (Alderman bartender). "The location is spot on but at times it is evident that the place needs a lot of work. My room card stopped working several times and on one occasion I had to wait at reception for 15 mins before someone was available to assist me. The staff are polite and professional but when you have a doorman and a luggage attendant stood around doing nothing while other guests are trying to be seen at reception it’s a little disappointing. "Wow! What a bargain on this unique property! We wanted a safe, clean, quiet and affordable room for a two night stay...and that is exactly what we got. Not only that, but the property was once owned by American composer and songwriter, Burt Bacharach. Actual photos, music awards and memorabilia of the composer line the hallway walls making it a kind of small museum, so you get that too. Our room was spacious and the bathroom bigger than I expected. The overall interior design of the property is part of the charm of the place. It is by no means 'up to date' but that is what makes it so interesting. There are restaurants, a grocery store, a hair salon and other shops within a short walking distance. We plan to stay there again when we need of a restful getaway. I highly recommend."

"I had booked 2 rooms for 8 family members that were here from Ohio for my Moms 90th surprise Birthday party. They left a gift in the room that was in a birthday bag with tissue paper and bows. You could clearly see it was not garbage. They drove about 10 minutes away they called the hotel and were told the room was cleaned and no package was found. Clearly cleaning staff stole the gift what a shame. Overall experience was very nice the gentleman that checked them in was great. Clearly staff needs to be retrained on etiquette."
