"The room is fantastic and the owner is very friendly. We loved having coffee, as much water as you want and bikes to ride around the islands. I was unsure whether Gili Air would be a bit too busy for us but we loved it. There are lots of nice restaurants. We are now at Gili Meno but wish we had stayed longer here and done a day trip to Gili Meno instead. If you are looking at this hotel book it! And do a day trip to one of the other islands instead."

"I was bitten by insects as soon as I entered the place.There was holes in the mosquito net, I voiced my concerns with the staff, who listened but did nothing. At night I was very bitten by mosquitoes. There is very little ventilation as no windows, so the heat builds up, the fan is inadequate to cool you down. The bathroom is outdoors and does not have any privacy. I ended up staying somewhere else, and paying again. The guest book had comments from other customer's voicing the same...

"The hotel is in a great location. We stayed in the bungalow and it was clean and comfortable beds. Has a room safe and mini fridge and air conditioning unit. The shower pressure was a bit weak but what do you expect on an island. The beach was right in front and beautiful snorkeling right out front. "Had the most amazing stay at Villa Sama Lama!! There are only x4 villas in the lot, and it's away from the main "entrance" of the island at the port so you feel so peaceful and secluded. The villa came with a it's own private pool, outdoor kitchenette, "living room" and sun loungers then a king sized bedroom, huge bathroom inside.
