Pearl Sunset Resort was exceptional. The location was perfect on a beautiful beach. The staff were brilliant, they were very helpful, friendly and polite. The pool area was lovely. Our room was delightful, spacious and very clean with a good sized balcony overlooking the pool. The restaurant did a lovely a la carte breakfast and the dinners were excellent.

Beautiful unique property design, with very friendly staff that made you feel welcomed. Clean and quiet with excellent food. They had renovations going one but the hotel sent us a email right away after our booking to let us know about it. So it was not a surprise! We would recommend this hotel on the quiet side of Gili Trawangan

Very nice smaller hotel

A very nice smaller hotel. Good rooms, with a big balcony, only the beds could have been better (they were a little hard) Very friendly staff always smiling and ready to help. Breakfast was good. The beach is not the best, a lot of stones and horse riding.

We stayed one week at the „Pearl Sunset Resort“ on Gili Trawangan. The hotel is on the west side of the island where it is much quieter and more relaxed. It is perfectly located as you can relax and quickly reach the hectic center by bike. The whole hotel was super clean and perfectly maintained. The rooms were also great and I’ve never stayed in a room in Indonesia that had no insects like this one. For dinner you can either visit the in-house Cloud9 restaurant or one of the restaurants right next to the hotel (pizza, Jamaican). I would also like to emphasize the staff, who were extremely friendly and helpful. Every problem and every wish was eagerly solved/fulfilled. Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our trip to Indonesia and if we were to travel to Gili T again, we would check into the Pearl Sunset Resort without hesitation.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was welcomed with a warm smile and genuine kindness. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always eager to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Whether at the reception, restaurant, or housekeeping, every interaction was marked by true hospitality and professionalism. The employees made me feel like a valued guest and were always ready to answer questions or fulfill requests. What impressed me most was the personal touch—they remembered my preferences, and I never felt like just a room number. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, elegantly furnished, and offered every amenity one could wish for. But what truly made this stay special was the atmosphere of warmth and care created by the fantastic staff.

Great stay in Gili T.

Great place to stay. Staff is friendly, a lot of services included. Room and common areas are nice and clean. There is only one note: WiFi is not great so if you plan to take calls or do some work don’t rely on WiFi too much.

Very nice hotel, nice poolarea. Good food. The beach on this side is not so good for swimming (many corals) so you need to rent a bike and go to the otherside if you like to swim in the ocean. But a really nice place to stay if you want it quiet.
