"I had booked this as a surprise for my husband. We arrived early so room was not ready. Checked in and was a bit disappointed as room was facing the car park. I had contacted the hotel prior to arrival as it was a surprise birthday pressie. However asked if there was any rooms with a view of the loch. "Our stay at Douglas Park was simply wonderful. From trying to spot dolphins out the windows at breakfast to warm welcomes from Tilly and Ken after a rainy day out. Ken is an absolutely wonderful host whose hospitality is exemplary! Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. "We stayed here as it was on a list I had for locations to stay. Easy to get to the Loch Lomond area and a short jump to Stirling or Glasgow. The rooms were clean, the staff were wonderful, and we enjoyed the bar and the conversation with some local folks. Spar just across the street. This is a nice place, and I'd stay here again."
