"A beautiful villa with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It's in the middle of the island, so it is very quiet at night. We enjoyed the little walks to the more lively areas along the beaches. There were not many mosquitoes either, and we had a very comfortable stay. "

"Walked in stayed for an hour and got a refund. Perhaps it’s because we had stayed in 3 stunning places for lower prices before this and we expected more….. but this place is not worth the money atall and needs some money spent on a refurb"

"Nice private villas in a great location. Just a few minutes walk from the north and west side of the island with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Staff here very friendly and helpulful. Earplugs a requirment (provided at the villa) for the very early morning call to prayer from the Mosque. I am sure this will aplly to any accomodation on the island. All in all the villas and island were a great place to stay and would have gladly done more time here. "

"Cool little cabin experience. Surroundings are beautiful. The food options are very strange though. Be wary that all western options are frozen packages to be cooked by the guest themselves on a hot plate. "

"Stayed a Pera One for 2 nights, perfect spot as its only 5 minutes by bike to the sunset side and just under 10 minutes to the party side! Staff were wonderful and spoke great english, very helpful and bicycles included! Staff also helped us to organsie snorkelling and suggested places to go out :) "

"The villa was even better than the pictures. The villa was really spacious for our family of four. Having a private pool in our private garden was a bonus. The staff at Rimba villas went out of their way to make our visit special, even recommending local restaurants and things to do. I especially liked that they contacted me ahead of our visit to ask if I had any requests and had our bike rentals already arranged when we arrived. "

"Our room was fabulous! We had our own private pool with the utmost privacy. Our first day we awoke to breakfast floating in a beautiful heart shaped basket in the pool. Upon arrival we were added to a WhatsApp group with the staff which was like having a concierge at your fingertips. They arranged transportation as needed, food. Helped set up excursions. "Somewhere special indeed. From the moment we were greeted by the wonderful staff to the moment we cried as we said goodbye. Everything was perfect. If you are after a sterile 5 star experience then Avilla is not for you. If you want to be surrounded by a beautiful peaceful environment with a private pool outdoor bathroom amazing food then this is it. A most memorable stay for 8 nights. Excellent overall, but one drawback

"The manager Dani is a saint. He is generous, and it’s clear he makes sure the resort runs efficiently and comfortably. I am confident the place would not be a top experience, for all guests, if it weren’t for Dani. Other notable characters are Maroon and Tegu who are friendly and welcoming, giving good advice on where to go and what to see. The receptionist Rifky is a character out of a Kafka novel. He is vindictive, suspicious, and does not hide his thoughts well. There were many more workers who are friendly and make the experience top notch. The rooms are wonderful, beds comfortable. Quiet at night. The restaurant serves good food for reasonable tourist prices. "

"This property is lovely, nice big rooms, the outdoor bathrooms were fun. The hotel has a very large pool, and three smaller ones, a spa, bike rental at a reasonable price. All the staff were really friendly, always said hello or good morning/ afternoon when passing, the hotel is opposite the beach which has great sunset views. We ended up extended our stay 2 extra nights due to the boats not running due to the weather and the staff helped us arrange an extension easily. Lots of good food options nearby and outdoor cinema slightly further up on the beach, really enjoyed our stay here. "

"Love coming here, this was my second time visiting and my husbands first. The pool is beyond amazing and we spent the majority of the time there. The Buffett was excellent, and staff was the best. The house cleaning staff was so friendly and helpful and Riski was always checking in to see how our stay was."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oceano. The island has no dogs but an abundance of cats, the resort had feeding stations for the cats all around and we had a friendly cat who would visit when we were sitting outside. Staff were always friendly, the room we stayed in was just like the photos and in great condition. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet family style place to stay. "
