"Fantastic stay at Marvel Hills. Sarath is the perfect host, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast offerings were plentiful both traditional and western. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Sarath organised a TukTuk for us for a day with a friendly local. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. "

"Nice place, friendly couple own it. It is up a big hill, take the taxi the first time, the owner will show you the short cut which is easier than the road. Basic room, no AC but the fan was enough when I was there."

"The hotel is perfectly placed to walk to the temple, lake and market. A 20 min walk of brief tuk tuk ride from the station. Reasonably comfortable bed with a private en-suite. The only issue was that one wall of the room is a floor to ceiling window that looks onto the hallway and lets in light from the hall until it is switched off around 11pm. So maybe ask which rooms might be best if you prefer the dark! Air con very good and warm shower. The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner....

"it is the 2nd time hotels.com is selling me a place that does not exist anymore. we went to the place after calling but failing to get an answer multiple times, they said they are not open for a year. it was a terrible experience to walk all the way with the luggage at night and trying to find another available hotel was awful."

Det viste sig at der også skulle holdes fødselsdag om aftenen - så der var høj musik til 23.15. Der blev ikke gjort rent på værelset mens vi var der, og der var ikke wifi på værelserne som der er angivet. "

Me puse un día enferma y me trajo medicinas naturales y en seguida comenzar a sentirme mejor. Todo un lujo. Me sentí como en mi propia casa. La comida es maravillosa y abundante. No lo cambiaríamos por nada. "

"We liked this place a lot. The staff were exceptional. The hotel is away from the centre of Kandy, about 10 minute walk around the lake, which we preferred. There are nice places to eat locally. The breakfast at the hotel was great. Would stay here again."

"We had an incredible stay at Rusty Bunk Villa, which comfortably accommodated our group of six. The apartment was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and spacious with three bedrooms, making it a perfect mountain retreat for a larger group. The mountain view from the property is breathtaking, making mornings truly special.
