"Excellent/wonderful. Beautiful facility/setting and the staff are wonderful. The breakfast was the best I had in all of Sri Lanka. The dinner choices were wide ranging an excellent. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent water pressure with plenty of hot water. About a 10 minute Tuk Tuk ride to the Fort. Highly recommend. "

"Bartizan is locted on edge of Galle Fort. It has a rooftop with seating which has great sea views and more importantly a breeze in the swealtering heat! Breakfast amazing, with nice choices, staff supet freindly and very polite. Well worth booking a room with seaview or partial seaview rather than courtyard room ( although these are fine). Would recommend this hotel. "

"My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of a 6 week tour of Southern India and Sri Lanka. It's a beautiful small hotel that has retained the building's history, yet is comfortable and has modern facilities. It has an lovely calm atmosphere which was exactly what we were looking for. The staff we engaged with were all excellent and friendly. It's in a great location, right in the middle of the Fort. 10/10"
