Since its construction in 1847, the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert has been a destination for Belgium’s upper class. It was built so the emerging bourgeois class could avoid Brussels’ more questionable neighbourhoods. Today, the beautiful arcade is a busy thoroughfare through the city and accessible to all. The arcade has more than 50 independent boutiques within its three double-story arcades. Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert is located in central Brussels and is best reached on foot or via train, tram or bus. Some metered street parking is available in the area surrounding the Grand Place. The arcade is open daily but stores have varying opening hours.
