With only a partial glass curtain for the shower it was difficult to keep water from spraying from the shower onto the floor. "The room was clean and as promised. For one person it was quite large but it would have been absolutely fine for a couple. The addition of the couch in the room meant there was tons of space that wasn't just bed/desk like in many hotels. The SmartTV was also nice as it meant I was not limited to local TV/Portuguese stations. (A huge bonus as an international guest) The included breakfast was quite nice and the area it was served in was clean. I would have appreciated better/more accurate signs...

"If you’re looking at this hotel, do yourself a favor and stay there. The experience is outstanding. Quiet and very private. The owner gave us a tour of the property, which used to be a vineyard owned by his family. Quite amazing how well they renovated the property. Dinner was 5 star. Wine selection the same. My wife and I will stay there every time we travel back to Portugal. Two thumbs up!"

The only potential issue is that the room air circulation is either not on or not the best. So when opening the door, it can become noisy due to street car or motorcycle.
