"Property need update. Bathroom really old, the toilet is all cracked, there is no flush button. The windows cannot be closed. the handle does not work. "We had a fantastic stay in Grand Poet Hotel. We booked the Deluxe room and we were given room 419, which had a fantastic view over the park and Riga old town. There was plenty of room for 3 people including our son. Room was tastefully decorated and super clean. We utilized the valet parking which was really convenient. Charge was 30 Euros per night. Hotel was walking distance from everything, including all the nice restaurants in the old town. SPA was nice, but a bit overcrowded at all times....

"Staff was super helpful and friendly! Definitely make up for the place. Breakfast was nice as well as bar area in the evening. This hotel is a bit dated in their rooms, specially bathrooms as well as no USB chargers. SPA area is nice, yet lacking free drinking water. Strange shopping facilities inside the building, reminding some Turkish hotels. Overall I'd say this hotel is 3* rather than anything more."

Great, comfortable hotel

"Great little hotel in a wonderful location. Rooms are tasteful and comfortable, and a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was of a great standard. The roof terrace was a nice bonus, and the hotel is situated just off the main street and a short walk from the beach. Negatives were that the walls were a bit marked and the carpets were slightly stained, but overall a really nice hotel. Perfect for a relaxed break."
