Walk south down the beach to find the wonderful Meio Lagoon. Stroll along the tranquil walking paths that enclose this very photogenic body of water and enjoy the picturesque views. This impressive water basin is made from the adjacent ocean water, although it is a little warmer. Discover a similar lagoon at the northern end of the beach.
Stay the night at one of the few vacation homes at the back of the beach. Although it is peaceful and relatively undeveloped, the strand also has a few bars and restaurants spread along the nearby boardwalk.
