"The pictures posted seem to be of a suite, not a basic room. I had an end room, with a view of "the city" which was the subway track, and the room was much smaller than i expected. However, I had all the amenities I needee, and the hotel is right across from not only a large shopping center, but in the mix of Chinatown, so there was lots to eat nearby and the parking in the shopping center was ample. I would stay there again."

"The room was very clean and a good size. We appreciated having a refrigerator and a small table in the room. The staff were friendly. Our only complaint was there was no temperature control, so the room was a little warm for our liking, but overall, we had a pleasant stay. The location is perfect for attending Broadway shows."

"Place was very simple but had everything that you need for a stay in NYC. The lock on the door was a bit of an issue getting in - you just had to do it a couple of times then it worked. Only reason I gave it 4 stars. "

"The shower was sent from the heavens (they have great water pressure) the location is so convenient you can walk everywhere from central park, carnegie hall, Rockefeller,times square and 15 minute walk from the deli 48 thats open 24 hours(the distance helped when I wanted a strawberry roll cake at 3am) and of course the staff was engaging and helpful. I hope to stay in the same location when i make my next visit to nyc!"

"The room was super comfortable and well designed for the limited space available - also quiet, so we slept great. The only elevator broke down while we were there, and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs a few times to reach our 5th floor room. (We saw others who had to carry very heavy luggage down the stairs). The surrounding area feels quite safe but is a bit dark and dingy. The hotel no longer offers parking, and the nearby options are sketchy, so we don’t recommend it if you’re driving...

"We enjoyed our stay at this property, especially being so close to the subway and nearby bodegas. One thing, one of the mattresses was rock solid — the owners should invest in at least a mattress topper. The water in the shower gets extremely nice and hot, and the other tenants were very friendly. Another weird thing, “an exterminator” came in the morning during one of the days we stayed around 9am, and tried to barge in and “exterminate”. That was uncomfortable, and he had a key. "The property itself is excellent, new and clean. The area around the property is a little sketchy at night, but the good thing is, subway stations are only a 10 min walk at most, so transportation is fairly convenient."

"My particular room was noisy as we were next to Delancey street. The window sounded like it was open which made it hard to sleep. However, they do offer a sound machine which was very nice, and came with a large selection of noises. Overall the room and hotel was clean and orderly. The hotel does not have a concierge so there is no need to interact with people if you don’t want to. Everything went smoothly and we enjoyed our stay. "

"Always love to stay at the Lotte. Top notch all the way. The only complaint this trip was the older man at the concierge desk was rude when we were trying to pick up our stored luggage. One member of our group was sick and I was trying to ask if the concierge workers could possibly deliver our luggage to the room & the man basically yelled at me & told me to "Wait!" in front of several other guests. The other man working at the concierge desk apologized for him and said he was just a little overwhelmed. I understand it happens sometimes, but the rude employee never apologized or even acknowledged me again while I waited, like he told me to do. The other worker helped get our luggage to the room. Other than that isolated incident, the service and experience were great, as usual. "
