"Beautiful old hotel in the center of town, near many restaurants and cafés with live music especially on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Much quieter on Monday night, but still many dining options. Great place to stay for taking day trips into the Amazon. The hotel has a large roof top lounge area and other spaces for sitting, reading, or talking. Our room was large. Staff are very nice and quickly gave us another when the air conditioner broke.
