I spent only 2 nights here and what I saw of the area was quiet safe and friendly. It seemed to be an old part of town away from the tourist haunts. The lady manager and daughter and staff were very helpful. No lift and room in the top floor was a little inconvenient but overall a very nice stay.

Lovely little room, compact but everything we needed with private short and toilet. 10/15 minute walk into the centre. We had a room on the front of the hotel so on the main road, a little noisy but didn't notice anything when wore earplugs. Staff were really friendly and helpful, we would stay again.

The hotel manager was very pleasant, supportive and helpful eg when I couldn’t open the lock to my luggage. As described there was a shower and basin in the room but shared toilet (which also had a sink n shower cubicle). The busy road was straight outside the room’s high up window. Connection to the railway station via bus is good. The walk into the centre of Florence takes say 20 minutes.

Nice basic clean room with double and single bed, great value, 10 min walk from centre of city, down straight road, breakfast available at 6 euros but I prefered to eat in the town, nice en-suite, quiet area, good for solo travellers

The location is perfect, walking distance to everything and quiet to sleep in. The room is very comfortable and has a sink. The bathroom is shared with (maybe) just one other room but in 3 days I never saw it busy and it was always spotless. The staff is very nice and provided great advice on the city. There are stairs (like in many places in Europe) so not ideal when carrying very heavy suitcases, but totally doable. Breakfast is overlooking a beautiful patio that the building has in the lower stage, although there is a delicious coffee shop very nearby. I recommend it based on the experience and the price range for the city, again, perfect location.

The property was a bit dated and smaller than the pictures. There was a shared bathroom for one floor, which was kept relatively clean. The location was ideal; only a 20 minute walk into central Florence. Staff were really friendly and helpful!

Nice stay if you're staying only one night. If going in the summer, pay extra and get a hotel with AC. A fan was given, I was still sweating at night. This place might be ok in the winter , hard to sleep in the summer. No cafe places around, so difficult trying to find coffee in the morning. Even though we didn't leave door open for long the mosquitoes still got into the room. Staff was every helpful and room was clean. As an overweight American around 190 pounds, bathroom was extremely extremely small! Spend extra get a hotel with AC and within the main center.

located right outside of ZTL zone so you can park your car near by, and 15 mins walk into center of florence. room is not in great condition. No safe. no water for the room, no coffee no tea no fridge, not even kettle. when try to borrow things from kitchen or leave somethings in the hotel fridge, they wont let you stating a thousand rules and reason why. carrying luggages up the stairs was a serious work out. staff was polite but unhelpful and unfriendly.

Really friendly receptionist- our room was lovely and clean. Central location. No air con but the fan did the job for the most part ,room still quite hot though. Lovely terrace where we sat and had a coffee , warning the ‘coffee/tea in the common area‘ isn’t free (as it says in property description). Also water from taps was drinkable but warm.

A very good experience.
NIce little place with a lot of soul. The lady who manages it is very nice and he tries to help everubody with their tourist problems. It is not new but it has a charm and it is not expensive for Florence. Tou must walk to get to the city center but it is not far. And you can take buses very close to the hotel to get to anywhere in Florence. If you have a low budget it is the best you can find. If you have money, get there and keep your money for museums, churches or Spritz !

Staff was helpful, some rooms are not air conditioned (not mentioned in website). These rooms became extremely hot in summer since rooms have huge glass windows and you cannot open them due to mosquitoes problem. So, I would recommend confirming the room with AC or not before booking.

Very cheap. Accommodating and responsive staff. I wanted a cheap place to stay that was no more than a half hour's walk from the sites of Florence and had a comfy bed with clean sheets (and clean in general), and not noisy. And that's what I got. I didn't try the breakfast, but I appreciated that it was an option. I mean, really, what more do you actually need? You're not hosting dinner parties, and if you spend much time in your room, you're doing Florence wrong.

The location was close walking to the center but very far walking back from Arno river about 40 mins for us. The place was nice and clean. Shower was in the room and shared bath where toilet was is right outside our room which is convenient. It’s on a busy street so we didn’t leave our window open at night. I went here in winter. The place was really cold. I got a cold at first night at this hotel and totally destroyed my Florence trip. The AC system had problem and also the radiators were off at the day time. When I asked the manager to turn on the radiator, he said "in Italy we turn off the radiators during the day and if you have problem go to another hotel."
