"Great location, easy walk to harbour front, bars and restaurants. We had the comfort suite, which was seperate to the main guest house. It was very, very spacious, with wonderful views from the master bedroom/lounge on the first floor. It was cold whilst we were there. There is a log burner on each floor which you can purchase firewood/lighters for at reception. This was a must for the cold days. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were friendly and helped when needed. "The pics didn't really show where the accommodation is situated & being in a hurry when booking, I didn't as I usually do, try and establish exact position. Although the accommodation was neat, comfortable with a great sized bathroom as well as amazing staff & service, the drawback would be the location. "

"This place is divine! A beautiful old house, lovely decor, spacious, incredible views, great location, and really lovely staff! Freshly ground coffee delivered to your room at a time you choose each morning was a great touch. I fell in love with Kalk Bay - what a gem of a town. And I'd highly recommend staying at Chartfield to anyone looking to visit Kalk Bay."
