"Big unit and ac worked but that’s about it. Weekly clean and towel change only. Everything including pool shut down from 2-5pm in 45C heat?? Espresso and food overpriced by triple than everywhere else. More of a unit rental and your on your own. You can get a hotel for what I paid with full service in a major tourist area rather than this place. Tired building and far from beach, staff service non existent in any front. Seemed like they didn’t want to be there or help."

"The grounds were beautiful. The pool was warm and clean..a car is needed as there is not many places that are safe to walk to. The description says there is a beach, there is no beach on property or walkable. We had an amazing dinner at Portale nearby recommended and arranged by owner. Amazing dinner but no real town to walk about. This is a great place if you have a car and want to explore nearby beaches. Close to the train station. "Amazing hotel around the corner from the heart of tropea. Hotel is new and clean. Staff amazing and very kind and helpful. Room was large and cleaned to perfection daily. 2 minute walk to the main area with all the restaurants and shops. Easy walk to the main beaches. Highly recommend and will be back! Thank you Solmaris and all the staff for a wonderful stay! "

"My family and I have been fortunate to travel a lot and this hotel, the location, and staff was the absolute best. From check-in, we realized we were going to have a great time. Georgia made us feel welcome, spent time with us giving us information, and introduced us to Pavel, the bartender and he immediately made us feel like we’ve known each other for many years. The complementary Prosecco was an absolute treat and we had it while sitting in the outside patio that was magnificent and the view was out of this world. Thanks also to Selina and the two young ladies that served at breakfast. We would recommend this hotel for all that it offers but the staff is above and beyond expectation. Claudio and Angie Di Nota."
