We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at ocean Eden bay. I would not say this resort is above or below average of the resorts in Jamaica. We enjoyed the distance from Montego Bay and didn’t feel like we were in the city. The property is average, the drinks are good and the food was acceptable. Nothing extraordinary or over the top. We didn’t get reservations at the special restaurants but didn’t try very hard either. The beach chairs are taken by 7am. The resort could take a little more pride in the appearance of the property. The water and views are gorgeous. The welcoming staff is pushy about upselling but I’m sure that is just their job. We had to decline more than once. We just wanted to come and relax with no bother. Tips to the bar staff help with the ambiance and enthusiasm in the delivery. Staff seems overworked and under appreciated but otherwise very friendly and accommodating to requests.

Beautiful property, the staff was amazing and property location gave a nice view of both the beach front and mountains. The food wasn't good and the room service options were very basic. Unlike most all inclusive resorts we didn't have full bottles of alcohol in our room which I thought was odd. Not even a bottle of wine or mini bar sizes. I also found the bed to be uncomfortable.

The newer side of the property is nice. There are lots of activities but the Adults only side is misleading. There are still screaming kids at the beach and at the lazy river that is right outside of the adults only building. The staff isn’t on one accord and give mixed directions on topics such as when to book dinner reservations. The location is not exactly in Montego Bay so you are some ways from shopping and restaurants.

Upon arrival and depart, Homroy was AMAZING! Room-Our toilet area was filthy. Used my own face wipes to clean off walls and bowl. Pubic hair and other hair visible. GROSS! Housekeeping was not consistent. Body towels, hand towels and face clothes were not stocked daily. Kleenex ran out on day 3 never got refilled. Pool towels were hard to come by. Entertainment was great. Food amazing! Donnet Route 66) horrible server. Never got my meal. Smile my friend, it helps😊. Jason W kept our family well hydrated and very friendly. Never left resort bc so much was offered. Won’t be a repeat customer mostly bc of the cleanliness of our room. Check in/out staff very helpful and friendly. Overall my family made many memories and I am grateful for that. Just had to accept that it was going to take effort to get a few services.

The property was beautiful. I went in November so by 7pm it was DARK. The pool was open and it was nice and warm, but it was too dark to swim. I felt like that took away from my nights.

We booked this hotel for my boyfriend birthday and let me tell you we had an amazingg time! Daniel (Dan the man) was assigned to us to help us with anything we needed and he was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The amenities at the hotel are great with multiple food options and the beach/pool is beautiful. I would definitely recommend for your next Jamaica trip!

The lobby is the best thing going for this resort. Unless you want to spend your whole trip there- I would seek other accommodations. It's a more affordable resort and it shows-room had a heavy smell, dirty linens and dirty furniture. The phone was extremely dusty- the room service menu is mid and the customer service is not the best.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!! Check-in butlers were unprofessional upon arrival, one butler was arguing with another as to who would be escorting us to our room and when he didn’t get his way he took the keys to the golf cart so we would have to walk to our room. The butler hotline on WhatsApp was unresponsive. Every time I called the privilege desk, front desk, or guest services to make a reservation for dinner I was transferred to a voicemail that was full. During the “welcome breakfast” we were pressured into purchasing a time share when we declined multiple times the young lady told us “if we can’t afford the down payment today then we shouldn’t go on vacation anymore.” The couples package we purchased at the spa was no where near as good as what we paid for. The massage therapist basically traced my toes for 20 minutes while chatting with the other therapist who was supposed to be working on my partner. The beds in the room are hard and uncomfortable. We were told if we wanted a room with a single bed we would have to upgrade our room even though we already paid for the privilege package. Our door was broken and it took 2 days and multiple walks to the lobby for it to be fixed. The only saving grace we found at this property is it had good food and three staff members that were very helpful.

I was asked by rheir staff if i wanted to take a rum tour. They said $119, then told me it was $400 since it would be private. I didnt ask for a private tour, nor did I even ask for a rum tour. I stayed 5 nights. 2 of thoee nights they put a swan on my bed but didnt actually make the bed. Twice I finished dinner, and once I finished bfast, before ever being served a beverage. Two days at the pool I ordered a drink that never came. I guess it was self serve. Other people seemed to be getting theirs. On the last day i asked 5 people for assistance in securing a chair at the pool. No one helped. When the people i asked passed they would look the other way to avoid eye contact. Called the front desk because my air wasnt working. No one came to fix it. And to top it all off a female bathroom attendant propositioned me twice in the bathroom. Very unclassy. Very ghetto. I asked to talk to a manager again upon checkout but no one showed up again. I would avoid this place unless you like laying on concrete, sleeping in a hot room and paying for sex.
