"Our cottage Castaways is a bit rustic but have all the basic things and is comfortable. They had some issues with water supply due to island wide outage, but it was fixed within a day. "The location of this property was great. The shoreline was 10-15 yards from our patio. The beach is stony and was best if I wore water shoes. The swimming pool was good, but we used it only once as beaches were so accessible. We had a rental car, which was needed for us to get around and to explore the island. "We would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay near the downtown or ferry/seaplane port. Natalie was very welcome and accommodating. The rooms were clean, roomy with AC and a small kitchenette. It also included a light continental breakfast. Thank you for being such gracious hosts. "

"The condo was in j great condition, the grounds are beautiful! The pool was great and private but If you want to use the beach don’t book due to no water access. They have a beautiful view but the seaweed is bad and in no rain times it smells horrific. "

"This location was perfect as a getaway for couples. However, the online pictures are from when the property was renovated 2 years ago. It appears since that time, there has been limited groundskeepers. Of the three shown beach areas, only one was not over run by grass, weeds and debris making them not usable. "The moment you drive onto the property it’s driving into another piece in paradise of its own! From the kindness and hospitality from the owners and to all that worked there were amazing! Best beach, best food! I loved the clean grounds with rooms and private pools! You guys thought of everything!!❤️ I stayed on the other side of the island for the majority of my trip and I wish I stayed the entire trip at Sand Castle! I will never book anywhere else!! "I just spent a week here and was pretty much on my own and the whole staff was amazing each one took time to make sure that everything I needed or wanted was there for me. The property was beautiful. I felt very safe wandering around all by myself, the food was good and I met many many friends. I will definitely be coming back to this property. I wish I had everybody’s name and could post it in here, but everyone on the staff was amazing"
