"Excellent from start to finish Warm welcome from Tim and Robbie. Room spacious and clean. Bathroom spotless and spacious. Very accomodating for our two little dogs (even after one of them was a bit naughty at dinner on Friday). Food was amazing big shout out to the chef Jake, keep enjoying your rugby. "Nice place .few points could do with some thought .pillows all very hard. Should have two of each to accomode different needs. For the price (£170) would have expected a decent level coffee offer and maybe a small fridge . As a frequent traveler this would be expected at this price level . Shower dispensers hadn't been filled fully . "

"Really enjoyed my stay at Felbrigg Lodge. Such a peaceful hotel and full of character. Took full advantage of the pool & hot tub which can be booked out for an hour each day. Had a great walk around the Felbrigg estate and lake. Great hosts who were always on hand for anything needed, hope to be back!"

"Pub and facilities were good, lovely place with lovely and tasty breakfast. Pity we were so close to the bar and above the pot wash/ kitchen, very noisy. Lovely stay, but pub noise too much for us as we are not drinkers. M"

"Great location and very quiet. Room was spotless, very modern and equipped with all facilities you need. The pull out sofa bed was massive and very comfortable. The only issues for me were: the shower wasn’t very powerful and one morning there was work including hammering and drilling being carried out next door on one of the days. This started early morning and continued until we left at 11am the same day. Other than those issues it’s a lovely place to stay."

"Really great stay. Jos was very welcoming and super helpful. We wished we’d booked for longer. The location is really beautiful, right on a beautiful beach and the accommodation was like a home from home. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will return. As a plus there was an electric car charger on site at a fair price. By far the best caravan park I’ve stayed in. Thank you Jos "

"I have stayed in many places and I can safely say this was one of my top three! Cozy clean super comfortable the surrounding ( the village) quaint and gorgeous friendly bar downstairs gave first drink on the house for guests the breakfast was delicious and homemade wonderful service bed unbelievably comfortable I could move in ! Honestly I wish I could give it 100 stars and more ! We will go back for sure … Christmas lights( sweet and tasteful) were a bonus as were the homemade eco friendly...

"I stopped for one night on business and found it to be a real gem. Lovely friendly team and amazing restaurant with high end menu choices and very well cheffed food. It was Tuesday evening and they looked fully booked for food which said a lot to me. Great selection of beers too. Parking on site was free and had a lovely breakfast in the morning nd great chat with the owner in relation to its aerospace connections. Overall would stay again 100%"

"We came from the Midlands to attend the funeral of an old friend and colleague. The hotel was really convenient for the Church service and we found out that the family had in fact chosen it for the after funeral venue. Our stay was very comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was superb. Choices were very difficult to make for dinner because they were so varied and when served they certainly did not disappoint. The breakfast next morning was equally superb. What a pity we live so far away.!!!"

"My husband and i booked an overnight stay for valentines day, we were greeted warmly by very friendly staff, the hotel itself was very inviting with beautiful decor and a relaxed vibe our dining experience was lovely amazing food served by a very sweet waitress followed by a delicious breakfast the next day. Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean with everything accessible for an overnight stay, we loved the little valentines touches added to our stay little heart chocolates on our pillows and beautiful red roses on the dining table for dinner followed by a fantasic jazz band playing throughout the evening. We would both highly recommend visiting this hotel it did not disappoint, we will certainly be visiting again soon."
