"It's a truly unique location... being cut off by the tide twice a day on your own island. It's stunning. The attention to Art Deco is remarkable. It was spotlessly clean. The service is relaxed not over the top. The food was really good, not superb and perhaps not quite worth the price, but I get that you're paying for the location as much as anything. "Our free upgrade to a beautiful king size room with balcony was just what we were looking for in our short Torquay stay. The whole hotel was clean, our bathroom was spotless, the balcony had wonderful views of surrounding villas, green areas and of course the sunny view down to the water! Ganesh couldn’t have been more welcoming upon arrival and he provided us with all the information we needed. "Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant.
