"GLK Acropol staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay in Istanbul, especially Mustafa and Emre. Hussein at reception was helpful in arranging the Bosphorus Cruise for us as well as transfer back to IST on our departure day. Although the hotel is a bit old, the management has kept it well maintained. The location of the hotel is phenomenal, however do keep in mind there several bars on this street, if you sleep in early be aware it can be some what noisy at night. "

The downside is taxis can’t drop you off at the hotel. The hotel will pick you up with a golf cart and bring you to a taxi stand. We had good weather and don’t have mobility issues so it wasn’t a problem for us. "
