"This was our first stay at a Melia hotel and we were very impressed. The hotel was in a good location and the room was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly and everything was seamlessly efficient. The only two downsides for us were the fact that the rooms and the pool areas were only in sun for half a day, so to sunbathe within the hotel environment was not really an option - at least not for very long. "The hotel exterior and entrance is looking very tired. The awful fragrance being used makes it smell like a care home! The rooms though are fabulous inside with the only issue was having very little hot water for our showers. Do try the Spa it is absolutely beautiful and a bargain at 25 euros each. You must pre book though. It’s a perfect location for exploring Alicante We have stayed here before and will stay again just don’t let the exterior put you off. "
