"The dinner buffet has so many delicious options and such high quality food that you should make it a priority to eat there. The hotel is definitely of the era in which it was built but I think that adds charm. The hotel does provide a free shuttle bus to the sapporo train station. If I come back to sapporo I highly expect to stay there again."

"The customer service at the Vale is one of the best parts. We were especially impressed when the staff arranged a complimentary shuttle for us to our dinner spot due to the unavailability of taxis. Jo, the friendly and helpful driver from Germany, was a friendly driver and great conversationalist! The spa is one of the best that I've ever been to. Loved how it was also clean, and had long hours. Rooms are very modern + great views. Loved the in-unit washer/dryer. Highly recommend."

. The only disappointment we have was the limited choices of food/restaurants available; there was only one or two restaurants that were open & the prices were ridiculous. Most of the guests ended up going across the road to Seico & 711 to buy microwave meals. We would consider coming back if the food situation improves."

"Family trip with 2 kids. A bit worn down room and facilities, but perfectly clean and with everything you need. The onsen was great, however parts of it was closed due to maintenence. The Lagoon

area was well made and appreciated by the kids, with areas both for the very small ones and the bit older. Not many restaurants around, so advice is to book dinner at the hotel. There are two convenience stores walking distance away. "

"Nice stay if you're driving, little bit away from the main town means easy parking. 2nd street across the street if you're into op shop hunting. Aeon near by. Onsen is great and they even got a swimming
