Normally I don't like to leave negative reviews but this case was unusual. Check in was bad, I had a reservation. Stated the name I booked the reservation under which was my company name. Reception couldn't find it. I was told they were all booked and would have to stay elsewhere. I showed her the reservation with Expedia. She had to go talk with her manager, I'm looking down at the counter and I notice the reservation slip with my company name on it. I point that out when she came back. Then get told next time book the reservation in my personal name. Unfriendly and rude in my opinion. I don't hold the hotel responsible for someone who's incompetent. I'm sure normal standards aren't this low. Maybe it was a bad night for this individual and possibly me.
The restaurant food wasn't great, I've eaten here before so that was a shocker. The steak was tough and no seasoning, very bland. Vegetables so grossly over steamed they were mush. Chicken Caesar salad was good though. Waitress was friendly and nice.
Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, building is all concrete so noise isn't bad at all. Parking was full, had to park on the east side. Ice and snow made it treacherous to walk all the way around the building to access the entrance. Probably stay elsewhere next time as there's no shortage of hotels in this area.
