"Distance from parking seems to be more than adviced, even with small luggage is not so confortable to walk due to uneven pavement and distance. "My favorite boutique hotel ever! It is so quaint and quiet and right in front of the sea. I love how small it is with just a few rooms. The staff treat you like family and are always very helpful. "Near to the train station, if anyone wants to spend a night or two at La Spezia on a budget this place is hard to beat. Clean and neat, staff is only on property up to 2:00 pm, so if you arrive later than that you must follow the instructions they will send to your Whatsapp. I did, not a big deal, everything was straightforward. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, using it as a base to explore the Cinque Terre. It was nice at the end of the day to be able to come back and relax in a quieter setting. We loved having the balconies where we could watch all the happenings in the area! The room was clean, had a kitchen that even had a dishwasher! Housekeeping came in daily and made the bed and freshened things up, that was an added bonus! "

"Amazing views & room was very nice. Only negative I have is when trying to get some ice for drinks from bar staff was almost impossible. Location is great for the view & main town is not too far, but need to climb heaps of stairs to get there from hotel & difficult to get parking close to the main centre. "

What a gem!

"What an amazing find! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel this clean—the attention to detail was incredible. The staff were so welcoming and kind, making us feel at home right from the start. Our room had a stunning sea view, which made every morning feel like a dream. The breakfast was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was top-quality, and the lovely lady running it made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone we met, including the cleaning crew, was so kind and thoughtful. And as a dog lover, I have to mention their adorable little dog, Lucky. He’s the sweetest, and it was such a treat to have him around for cuddles. Hotel Florida is just a fantastic place, and I couldn’t recommend it more. I already can’t wait to go back!"

God’s grace

"We had the unfortunate experience of having all our luggage stolen, our money stolen and our rental car broken into. Directly following that experience we arrived at your hotel 2:30 am in the morning . The staff went above and beyond to provide a lovely meal for us, drinks , essentials such as toothbrush, toothpaste and even facial Products. The next day they did their best to close up the broken window of our car all by their own volition. The hotel, food and service plus incredible view couldn’t be better. Thank you so much for restoring our trust in Italy and thereby allowing us the opportunity to stay and enjoy the country. "

"With the beach opposite the hotel this was a fantastic overnight stop. It would have been worth pre-booking parking, though we were able to book the last space. There are traffic restrictions in place, but the hotel arrange the correct authorities are notified for you so that any penalties are avoided. A beautiful family room with direct access to the roof terrace."
