"Overall it was very good. Please with the room, the SPA was great and all the staff were very polite and professional. Only negative was the dinner we had. We had to wait far too long for our starter - Prawn bruschetta. Which was really very plain and lacking any sort of flavour. Than after being sat down for almost 90 minutes, our main turned up. We paid £80 for the cote de boeuf. After asking for it to be cooked medium rare, it turned up medium well done - and really dry. So bad in fact, that...

"Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it is a lovely place with the lake being a beautiful feature. The hotel is really nicely decorated and clean, the reception is inviting and the restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Our only criticism was the bed, it’s a very small double with a very soft mattress which did not allow us to sleep well but that my suit others. "
