"The stay was beyond expectation and we found the accommodation unique, rustic, stylish and comforting. A late arrival meant that there was no front desk to check in. Extremely thorough instructions were provided instead and to our surprise, we had received an upgrade to the best room on the property. "This hotel is perfect for a night or two. We will definitely stay again. No frills but it has everything you want in a room. A comfortable bed, spacious, spotlessly clean, air conditioning. Be aware however Expedia says check in at 2.30. That’s not the case. You need to check in before 2pm as reception is not 24hrs and it closes at 2 then reopens at 5pm until ? Sorry can’t remember. "

"The photo’s are deceiving! The rooms are tiny with no storage or bathroom shelf space. The shower was hot and has good water pressure but, once again tiny! The beds are comfortable and the rooms have AC and heat. The rooms facing the street are noisy at night especially after hours. The proximity to the Alhambra is great BUT it is a long steep climb to the entrance, be warned! If you come in a vehicle and use the parking, a small vehicle is better as the access and spots are extremely tight!"
