"We stayed as a family of 13 for two days with more family joining us over the two days for a funeral and a celebration of life for my mother. The stay was really comfortable, the buffet for the celebration was delicious and plentiful and the staff were amazing, attentive and very friendly. I would absolutely stay here again and I would highly recommend!"

"The apartments are lovely, and have everything you need; washing machine, microwave, toaster, oven etc. The only thing that would stop me coming again, is the exorbitant price charged for dogs. £20 per dog PER NIGHT! We have 2 small dogs, staying for 5 nights which would be an extra £200 on the bill! We queried it, and they reduced it to £15 per dog per night. But that is still an extra £150. Other places we have stayed in, charge between £20-£50 per stay. So, as lovely and convenient as it is,...

"Beautiful classic hotel that is grand in all aspects not just name. Aside from the opulent surroundings, the service was excellent - responsive and helpful staff. The breakfast (the only meal I had at the hotel) was absolutely outstanding. Super comfortable bed and room also - two nights of great sleep even though I don't normally sleep well away from home. Will be back with the whole family! "

"The hotel building is a traditional style and slightly quirky in a good way. The staff were really pleasant and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious. The parking is right outside and has EVCharging in the car park which was perfect for us."

"Can’t fault helpfulness of staff. Room was simple but comfortable with sea view. Chest of drawers and coat stand. En suite toilet, wash basin and shower. Down side of hotel: No parking, scaffolding on front elevation, no lift, residential area away from town."

"I stayed at the Mowbray to see the Sussex Coast and Kent. The hotel proved to be a great choice. My room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I had an easy walk to Eastbourne’s board walk, great local places to eat and a nice building btw."

A very Pleasant stay

"Very pleasant , staff very friendly and helpful . Nice lounge area with flat screen tv.. Bar serving various beers , ciders and spirits as well as teas and coffees. Full breakfast if required . Room clean and tidy with a bathroom , tv , phone , safe , desk and chair . Right opposite the beach and a short walk to the pier and town . "
