"It’s a beautiful hotel. I understand since Covid they had been closed till last month so a lot of work is being done to get things running. Some few things may not be working well but generally I loved the place. Their restaurant meal has so many options especially for breakfast. Chefs are all very friendly and ready to get you something of your choice which is not necessarily on the menu for dinning or lunch options. "The staff at this place are phenomenal!! We had only booked this for one night, but ended up staying for 4 nights because we all took turns with the stomach flu. There is a pharmacy connected with the hotel, which was wonderful. Each morning when I would go down to extend for another night, they would ask how we were doing, give us water bottles and ask if there was anything extra they could do to help out. "The hotel was really nice. The staff did help us in many areas but even though they lived in Durban their knowledge was fairly limited about the area. All we were told was not to go out at night as it was not safe for white people. Even during the day do not wear a watch or show your phone.
