"We had a twin room with a view of the sea and it was clean enough. There was black mould on the window frame. However the TV had no signal and although there was a telephone there was nothing to plug it into. We complained and they moved us to a lovely family room. "We arrived to no electric at the hotel due to storm Bert. Fortunately the electric wasn’t off for long, and we were shown to our newly refurbished room. It was nicely decorated, with a large bathroom and shower cubicle. The bed was comfortable and the room warm and it was quiet. The only downside was I paid for a sea view room but did not get this. I got a room overlooking an over grown garden. "

"Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days. "After my friends came down with sickness and couldn’t host us anymore I was worried about a backup plan the day off on a busy weekend. The Woodhouse was available at a fair price! It’s cute, cozy, has great views, is very walkable and has a great atmosphere! The breakfast for £7 more was well worth it! The people who own and run this are amazing! So kind and helpful! Will be staying again even if my family is healthy! "
