"My wife and I stayed here for a babymoon. Our overall experience was very positive and we would stay again however, there are a few areas for improvement. We found the spa facilities lacking compared to other similarly-rated hotels: the pool temperature was rather cold and sunloungers were uncomfortable. We enjoyed our stay even though we were placed in the adjacent building without elevator (carrying our heavy luggage upstairs was a pain). Only thing I would say is if you don’t know how to light a peat fire research it , lol we had Donagle family to show us the way. "Staff were excellent. All staff were eager to please and were professional throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the food slightly let us down. My wife's main course kn our first evening was overly salted so she had to leave it. I tried it and also found it salty. First day breakfast was good but 2nd day breakfast was warm but not hot. Other than these minor points, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. "
