Prime location. Close to multiple metro stations. Room was clean. Housekeeping mandatory every 3 days but fresh towels are provided daily. Room is very small but personally that doesn’t bother me. Will come back again for sure.

My APA stays before this have been fine. But the single rooms at this property push the limits of acceptability for western guests, with 11 sq-m rooms. I had to rearrange the room to be able to do pushups in the morning. The worst part is that APA shamelessly and cynically greenwashes all their cost-saving practices, declaring very often "for earth, we (fill in cost-saving measure here)". But if you replace "for earth" with "for maximum profits," ALL their cuts to room services and amenities make so much more sense. Also, you can't have it both ways. You can't say "for earth" on everything, then distribute *individually wrapped q-tips* in your "amenities bag" that arrives every morning. It's insultingly transparent. The gist of it is that they do *all* the cost cutting things, *all* of which inconvenience you while saving the hotel chain money, and they will *always* find a way say it's for the environment. On the other hand, I paid $135USD/nt for a hotel walking distance from Tokyo International Forum, which is a great deal. Would I do it again? I might stay at this particular APA again, but I would probably spend a little extra to get a double room, even for a single person. So in short, the location is great, the staff is friendly, the price is good...but it's not a hotel you're going to want to *be* in - just a place to sleep. And not good for stays much longer than a week.

Great Staff, Excellent location near Ginza above the Takaracho Station on the Asakusa line. Direct access from Haneda. (Nariata too but it's a long ride). Ginza is just 5 min walk to all the shopping area and less than 10 min to Tokyo Station. Staff is very good here. What's not so good..... :( One slow elevator, Rooms are old so no storage under the bed, LOUD due to being next to express way / major street / fire station, and HVAC is on HEAT so rooms are HOT.

Pros: close to public transportation. Walkable distance to Ginza and Marunouchi. Friendly staff and have all the amenities i need. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Comes with complimentary breakfast. Cons: only one lift in the building. Something wrong with the plumbing in my room -- temperature of the water cannot be adjusted and is always on a quite hot temperature (but still bearable). Battery level of the bathroom toilet function was running low and was not monitored or replaced.

Staff were fantastic, but the room itself was pretty gross. Large, white stains all over the chair in our room. Just generally not very clean in the room (along the wall next to our bed). There are other hotels nearby that are the same cost and are much cleaner; we should have stayed in those hotels again when we returned to Tokyo at the end of our trip.

Nice hotel with clean and modern rooms, but very small. There’s a double bed, and only about 2 feet of space around it. Just one “slow” elevator for a 15-story building also makes it hard to get in and out of your room.

Great location but too tight to stay
I spent few weeks in Japan for for my vacation and stayed at different hotels in various cities. I know rooms of hotels in Japan are generally very small, but I don't expect it was so small and the layout is so terrible. Even worse, it doesn't provide any laundry service or self-service laundry machine. However, the location is very convenient, that's the best part of it.
