"Loved this hotel. A fantastic location. However the WiFi in the room was terrible. We had to sit next to our door in order to get good WiFi access. If we sat on the bed or at the table near the window, we basically had no WiFi. Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. "

"Extremely warm welcome from Benoit to this spacious and comfortable house right opposite the Menin Gate in the centre of the town. The house is filled with memorabilia from the First World War. We were very pleased to join Benoit for the moving last post ceremony at the gate."

"Just over the border from France, a good stop if you are heading north from Clais. Quiet location, parking appears limited at first sight but the hotel will tell you where you can park if you arrive when the restaurant is busy. Staff all very friendly, welcoming and professional. Bedroom is by some standards "neat" but comfortable and clean. It is obvious that the owners are hands on and want to build and maintain a good reputation. "Nice hotel on the sea front with car park and a short walk from the center . Clean and tidy , we had a big spacious room , coffee machine , fridge , safe . Only downside it did not hair air-conditioning though it is an old hotel. "

"Not that far from Bruge but completely inaccessible if you don't have a car. Very pleasant green surroundings and the donkeys they had were friendly. Rooms,furnishings and decor very tired and basic - more like you would expect in a hostel. Main problem is that the 'hotel' was closing [for good] down a couple of days after our visit so was in the process of being stripped down - so no evening restaurant (no cooker left in the kitchen), nothing to make tea or coffee in your room.
