"I spent two weeks at 27 Suites Apart Hotel and I highly recommend the place. First of all, the staff is outstanding. They are very friendly and always ready to respond to any request. The rooms are spacious and with a well equiped kitchenette. The neighborhood has lenty of super markets and places to buy already made food to buy and eat in the room, saving a lot of money. The hotel is one block from the Rambla, an ideal place to walk or run every day. Public transportation is abundant to go to...

"Staff were friendly and keen to help. Room was bright, clean, bed was comfy, air-conditioning worked. Location was pretty good for Carmelo proper - just off the centre, with easy access for everything from bus station to some of the best food in town. Not so good was the limited front-desk hours which meant having to plan to arrive within a two-hour window. Also the bikes for rent could be in better shape (and not all built for six-foot-tall riders)."

"Good hotel in Central Montevideo. We only stayed one night as a layover hotel. Location was good for restaurants and cafes. Good breakfast in the morning . Quiet for a good night sleep. Good value for the price. Only down side is our room apparently was the only room in the hotel where the hot was water inversed, right vs left. We never got the hot working to use as we had a bus to catch. "
