"The owner or manager was quite accommodating with early checkin for our luggage and let us use her mini refrigerator. She was very friendly and gave us a tour of this 1889 home. She made a delicious breakfast accommodating my gluten and dairy intolerance. The bed and room were totally comfortable! The only drawbacks were sharing the bathroom with the three other rooms making six people using the one bathroom. A water filter is also needed for the brown water."

"Black Bear Lodge is the perfect place to lay your head at night after a long day of hiking and outdoor adventures! The host was very kind as she provided light breakfast each morning (fruit, tea, coffee, muffins, croissants, bottled water), and checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well. I would definitely stay here again when I am in the area!"

"An amazing inn. Well designed and comfortable. Totally new. Feels like home away from home. Natalie and Aldo are outstanding hosts, kind and generous. There is a fire ring for s'mores and plenty of space for kids to run around. We will definitely be back. "

"Only open seasonally. They closed Sept. 6th. Had a booking for Oct. Not sure whybit let us book but they were not open and we had to scramble to find a playlce to stay in an area that was very booked up. "
