"What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! "

"Hosts/owners went above and beyond to make sure we had all the things we needed. Specifically arriving late on a Sunday evening and needing supper as they supplemented what food we did have. The location of this place is so good, particularly if you are visiting the various wineries. I loved this place so much that I am trying to figure when to go back and bring all my friends! "Booked last minute for two nights & Pascal was very accommodating at short notice. Lovely peaceful setting & would certainly stay here again. Only downside was no tea/coffee facilities in the room. "

"Beautiful quiet little get away but you definitely need a vehicle. So quiet and romantic and the host was lovely. You feel like you are in a remote village but really are only 15-30 minutes from some great castles."

"The picture did not do this hotel justice. It was much more charming. We had the seven course dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was delightful, artfully presented, wonderfully served, and in a great setting. We stumbled across this hotel when travel delays changed pur plans and we had to find a room fast. It was a great find on Expedia and one of the lodging highlights of our two weeks in France."

"The staff was superb. We, having been in France for 3 weeks prior to our arrival had quite a bit of laundry. The staff, took care of this for us at our arrival and we received our clean folded clothes the next day. Nothing beats this location as the rear of the hotel puts you right in the center of a pedestrian street lined on all sides with cafes and restaurants as well as the entry to the Chateau Amboise. "Excellent hotel in Tours with an ideal location, mins walking to the train station and the center if the old town. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The room and is spacious and well equipped. The shower room and toilet are seperated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "
