"Hostal 977 was charming and delightful. It’s on a medieval street just wide enough for a car, but few go by since the hotel is in the old city. Albert, at the front desk, was warm and welcoming. He couldn’t have been a better host. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Tarragona was our first stop on flying from the U.S., so we were exhausted. "A great stay for myself and my friend, the perfect no-frills, well-located place for our stay! I think the price per night is incredibly reasonable and if I were to return to Salou again, I would definitely consider staying here again. Lovely rooftop area with jacuzzis, pool and jacuzzis were on the cooler side as not heated but found it very refreshing after a long day at the beach"

"Great week long stay, there’s multiple pools and plenty of sun beds available at any time during the day. Unfortunately we had rain a few days but we were able to utilise the spa which includes a heated indoor pool with sauna and steam room. Only booked for breakfast included so can’t comment on other meals but the food was good and convenient but still the typical breakfast buffet.
