"Very relaxing stay next to the lagoon but also an easy walk to the beach. Only one restaurant was open aged that was on the beach so a bit of a trek when it rained. My room looked out on to a corridor which wasn’t ideal and the sealant around bathroom fittings was black with mildew. But largely these are minor details to a comfortable and relaxing stay at a fair price."

"I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. It really is the best hotel on Mawella beach (and maybe even in whole of southern province :) The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the staff are super friendly, including owner Xander, it's absolutely right on the beach , the food is great. "We had a wonderful stay at Seascape! We have stayed in the past and during its infancy. It just gets better each time! You are staying directly on a beautiful swimming and surfing beach. The sound of the waves lulls you to sleep at night. The staff, Senal, Nethmi & Kasun were incredible, attending to our every needs and always with a smile. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful.
