Hotels with kitchenette in Suriname

"To the owner of this apartment: please consider hiring a different care taker! We arrived in Parbo after a long bus journey and was looking forward to a good stay. First impression was excellent - nice quiet street with amazing tall trees hundreds years old, the building looked modern. However we were not able to raise the attention of the staff, there was a note on the door saying we should call a number - but how do we do that if we don;t have cell or wifi connections in a new country...

"For a one week stay, it worked good for us and enjoyed the small restaurant. For me, the only thing I did not like is the strange Dutch toilets which are popular in Suriname. "

"When arrived nobody expected us. Rooms were rapidly cleaned and were really clean. The rooms were terrible. No remote controls for airco, not enough plates, spoons, chairs etc for 6 persons. No check out when leaving because no staff wa avaiable. The hotel seems nice, with beautiful swimming pool and restaurant. We rented the house for a very high price, maybe the single rooms in the hotel are better."
