"We stayed at the Vivanta for three nights in April and loved it! The hotel is beautiful, clean and extremely comfortable but what we loved most was the staff. I don’t remember being treated better at any hotel. From check in to the wait staff, hostess, manager and even the chef, we were treated like family and taken care of so well that we hated to leave. We will be back Vivanta! "

"This is an excellent place to stay if you've come to Janakpur to see Janaki Temple. It's a quick walk to Janaki Temple and many other beautiful sites! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is great! "

"The best things about this resort are the location and the staff. Sabrina on reception is always smiling and cheerful. She has "magic fingers" which repairs things. Sitaram Streatham is an outstanding waiter in the restaurant. He is very attentive but also very knowledgeable about local wildlife. Lovely gentle mannered man. Our room was very comfortable. The bathroom is a wet room so i struggle with wet floors but i bought a floor squeegy in town for just over £1 and that helped a lot. The food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Beer prices are good too. "

"Utterly incapable of providing the required service standerd. 1. Bad front desk. 2. I don't think I was allotted the room that I had booked and was provided a lower category room. 3. There was no room heating available for us but I saw it was available for the frontdesk staff! Marxism. 4. Poor plumbing and insufficient size of the bathroom water heater "
