"We have driven to Brisbane a number of times and never knew this place existed! Very affordable, large spacious rooms and, while some of the rooms are dated, the location and amenities are excellent for those using it as a stopover to Brisbane. Staff are lovely, very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. There is a pool, which we didn’t use, and the gardens and grounds are nice. We will be staying there again."

"For the price you would expect the rooms to be updated and in much better condition.The room was older and dated. This is not a cheap hotel so I expected something updated. In my opinion the cleaning of the hotel was not up to standard, though the hotel was fully booked so I know the cleaners would have been extremely busy. "We had a great stay in the Sunset Tent during Christmas. Although there was no air-conditioning, fortunately we had a cool breeze blowing through & by opening the windows it flows through - also has a fan if needed. Toilet & shower was just a small walk away. Lots of wildlife to enjoy - we seen & heard Koalas, possums, magpies & lorikeets were all very friendly. Sunset views were very spectacular. Great dining options nearby as well."
