"Easy parking"

"Enjoyable stay with courteous service. We chose this hotel for its central location, connection to the Ipoh Mall and the 6 EV charging bays for hotel guests (at RM1.05/kWh). Our room on the Concept (12th) floor came with a jacuzzi, and overall it was spacious and comfortable, but with some hits and misses. Hits was the large 2 person jacuzzi, the smart tv with screen mirroring, comfy king size bed, powerful water and, uniquely, a drinking water faucet in the bathroom. Oh and also the...

"Room is generally OK, with bright windows. Would have been a great stay if not for the extremely poor Wi-fi. Most of the time there is no signal, resulting in dropped connections. In fact one of the guests in another room had to check out and move to another hotel in order to get a proper wifi for his work. That is a shame."

"The hotel is in a very good position, near to the jetty and all local eateries. Our room was great with partial sea view and view over the trees complete with monkeys. The room was comfortable and the balcony nice. Best of all the staff were wonderful from reception to catering to cleaning - all treated us well. My only gripes are that the hotel on the whole was only superficially clean and some of the hot food was less than hot but having said thatI would recommend the Orient Star."

"Is very nice hotel but the room is very small and the towel was old. The bed is comfortable and breakfast has good variety of choices with good service by the staff. Walking distance to concubine road. Overall is a good stay."
