Hotels near Shopping Areas in Pará

"Left after 1 night, shooting outside front door, prostitutes working the streets outside. In the roughest part of city. Not at all safe for my 6 yr old daughter and I to stay.even the locals don't frequent that area.cost me an extra £ 450 to switch hotels for 8 days. You should remove it from your books and would like to know if I am entitled to any refund? I visit my family regularly in Belem so know what to expect of the city."

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, lots of fruit fresh pastries, eggs, bacon. The building has 30 floors. We were on floor 15. Quite with a balcony. The building is dated and has a funky smell in the halls. Lots of hot water and pressure. Location is good for an evening walk to restaurants.
