"For my purposes of visiting an unwell relative, it was perfect. However, if you don’t know the area it appears a bit run down. The appartments themselves have good security with cctv. I booked through travel site and found communication was not easy. I have a feeling the owners are new to letting their appartments so hopefully teething issues. "We had such a lovely 2 night stay here! The lodge was in pristine condition, with all necessities like tea, coffee, milk. The hot tub was ready for us to get in. There were plenty of useful extras like iron, travel cot, hairdryers, plenty of toilet rolls. There was an en-suite with shower and a family bathroom too. The lounge was spacious and the tv in the lounge and bedroom had channels and internet access for using Netflix, YouTube, etc. The lodge is tastefully decorated and very cosy. The...

"We had an amazing time at Birdsong Lodge - perfect in every way for us and our fur babies! Lovely conversion well decorated designed and lovingly cared for !! Our little dogs investigated every inch to find escape paths but nothing to be found! Fabulous friendly hosts available if needed."

"We didn’t even get to stay in the hotel waited 30minutes outside for them to tell us the people before damaged the property so we could not stay so they left a 18year old and 17 year old with no where to stay 3hours away from home so not the best visit if I say so myself and will not be going back "
