"We had a lovely time at Paradis Plage, booked this as a winter sun / fitness holiday. The gym is well equipped, but could do with some upgrades. The rower no longer has a working computer to track distance/cals, the seat of the bike is rusty and collapses easily. Food here was okay. Not great for vegans, and I’d be wary of visiting if I had an allergy. While allergens were clearly marked, some of the dishes at breakfast were vague on their contents. "Lovely hotel with a magical feel. Very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food and comfortable, homely accommodation. Having a dip in the pool with an unobstructed view of the Atlas Mountains is spectacular. The only (very mild) negative is that it is remote- about 20 minutes from Agadir, although that its only 300 Dirham for a return Taxi trip, and there are not a lot of nearby shops. If you’re after bustling nightlife the hotel isnt for you, but if you want a quiet & peaceful getaway...

"The pro’s of this property is the room is comfortable and has everything needed, and the hotel is close to attractions and dining options. Unfortunately the wifi is weak on the second floor where my room was and on the last night while I was eating in the restaurant, I was given an envelope by the manager to put my tip in when I checked out the next day, I was then asked 2 more times about the tip by the manager. This is very poor manners, pushy and made me feel very uncomfortable. A tip should...

"Nice location in the old city of Marrakech. The souks are easily accessible from the hotel. However hotel is hard to find since it is hidden in a lane. Local will guide but expect to pay a small fee. Cars must be left outside the city gate, about 400m away. Parking is not easy."

"We’ve had the most wonderful short break at Es Saadi Palace, wishing we could stay for longer. Every part has been 5*: breakfast has every hot & cold option possible; delightful rooms & we appreciated an upgrade to a stunning suite with multiple indoor / outdoor places to relax. Though end January, great weather allowed relaxing in the sun by outdoor heated pool during the day & evenings using hotel’s spa, both welcome antidotes to the bustle of the souks which are a leisurely 25min stroll away....

"Beautiful lodge surroundings but limited dining options which were happily overcome by the charming and extremely helpful staff. I'd recommend staying here only if you're looking for stillness and tranquility as it's a very off the beaten path location that's at least 20 mins from the city centre of Essaouira which is very charming but quiet too."
